Tomoil hydraulic oil: HLP, HVLP and zinc-free grades
Eight hydraulic oil lines from ISO VG 15 to 320, supplied from Turkey in drums and IBCs. The grade is chosen from your pump's operating window, not from the label on the last drum.

Choosing the grade in four steps

Take the pump manufacturer's viscosity window: minimum, optimum and maximum.

Measure the oil temperature in the reservoir at normal running load, in the season that represents the worst case. Ambient and oil temperature are often 20–30 °C apart.

Pick the ISO VG that lands inside the optimum band at that temperature. If cold start and full load pull in opposite directions, that is the case for HVLP.

Check for bronze parts, servo valves or a zinc-free requirement before settling on a zinc-containing grade.
Too thin: wear at the pump and valves, and internal leakage that heats the oil further. Too thick: the pump cannot fill its inlet, with cavitation, noise and rising temperature.

Hydraulic oils are supplied in drums and in IBCs. Export orders leave Turkey by container. Send the product or grade, the quantity and the port of discharge, and availability comes back with the price.
Questions we get asked
What is the difference between HLP and HVLP?
HVLP is an HLP with a higher viscosity index, so its viscosity changes less with temperature. On a system that runs at a steady indoor temperature it adds nothing; on outdoor plant, or where cold start and full load are far apart, it keeps the oil inside the pump's window.
Do you have an equivalent of the oil we use now?
We do not publish equivalence tables. Send the data sheet of the oil in service, or the pump details and the measured oil temperature, and we will state which Tomoil grade meets the same specification.
